Pre-Apply Online now for Disaster Food Stamps All low- to moderate-income Louisianians may be eligible for Disaster Food Stamp benefits in the event of a natural disaster and should pre-apply now for benefits online or by phone. Current Food Stamp recipients do not need to pre-apply and would receive disaster benefits automatically. |

02.04.10 DSS Extends Nominations for Fellowship Program Until February 17 Department of Social Services (DSS) Secretary Kristy Nichols today announced an extension until February 17 for nominations to be submitted for the second class of the agency's Innovation in Louisiana Government Fellowship, designed to develop leadership and foster innovation in social service delivery.
